BFBS Pro League 2026: Lions Win League of Legends, Buzzards Runners-Up at the LAN Final
The 2026 BFBS Pro League wrapped up with its LAN final on 27 September, and British Army Esports came away with results across all three games.
League of Legends: Lions take the win
Earlier in the tournament, the BAES Lions took first place in League of Legends, defeating Real Humans to win the title.
F1 25: Army drivers 1st, 2nd and 4th
Army drivers finished first, second and fourth in the F1 25 championship standings.
Rocket League: a final decided in overtime
Three BAES teams made the Rocket League playoffs at the LAN: the Buzzards, Falcons and Kestrels. The Buzzards knocked out the Falcons, while the RAF Typhoons knocked out the Kestrels.
The final was a nail-biter. The BAES Buzzards met S.E.A Dragons, a Civil Servant and Service Families team, with almost every game going to sudden-death overtime. The Dragons just edged it, 4–2.
Bluey (BAES Buzzards) was named MVP, winning a BFBS gaming chair.

With thanks to the Band of the Rifles, the RAF Air Cadets, the RAF Museum and BFBS for making this a fantastic LAN event, to every team we faced along the way, and to Army Sport for their continued recognition and support of esports within the Army.
Well played to everyone involved.
